Welcome to the Drive MI Campaign

pothole contest

With Michigan motorists facing another season of nerve-shattering and frame-bending potholes, the Drive MI Campaign has kicked off a contest to find the state’s biggest roadway crater.

One or more winners will be selected and will each receive a $370 prize. $370 reflects the added annual costs that the average MI driver pays in vehicle repair and time lost in congestion due to poor roads.

Online photo and video submissions open on March 5 and close at 11:59 pm April 11, 2010. Winning pictures and videos will be chosen on April 12, 2010.

Transportation Team Launches
Online Petition Drive

The Michigan Transportation Team (MTT) recently announced an online petition drive for citizens who are tired of driving on pothole-riddled streets. Although the petition is non-binding and will not change the law, the names of petition signers will be presented to state policymakers to demonstrate the level of support in Michigan for investing in our state’s infrastructure.
